Elizabeth King, EdD, LCSW, CHt, better known as “The Holistic Psychotherapist” is an internationally recognized wellness expert, hypnotherapist, radio-TV personality, motivational speaker, coach and author. She also serves as an adjunct professor at Nova Southeastern University. She is regarded by her peers as a leader and a visionary.

Dr. King is the CEO and founder of International Holistic Center, a holistic counseling center, Suits, Stilettos and Lipstick, a women’s empowerment organization that focuses on women’s wellbeing, and the Lipstick Foundation, a non-profit organization. Although all three companies have distinct missions, they all work hand and hand to deliver the same message of good health, wellbeing, empowerment and hope.

Dr. King specializes in trauma, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), depression, panic attacks, anxiety, phobias, grief and loss, chronic pain and the mind-body connection. Although Dr. King treats a wide range of mental health disorders, her clinical practice primarily focuses on women’s mental health issues. Her unique (w)holistic therapeutic approach integrates psychoneuroimmunology, neuroscience, EMDR, positive psychology, cognitive-behavioral therapy, brief-solution-focused therapy, energy healing, essential oils and nutrition.

Dr. King comes to holistic health from a place of personal and professional experience, knowledge and compassion and brings these critical qualifications to her life’s work.

Dr. King’s book, “Dr. King’s Simple Guide to Holistic Health: Lessons Learned from My Personal Journey” is the book that she wished she would have had 12 years ago when she was bedridden for 2 years. She wrote the book to give people options and hope. International author and medical expert, Dr. Bernie Siegel writes “This book is exactly what the title states. I credit Dr. King for being able to explain a complex topic in simple terms. Dr. King hosted her own show for over 5 years “The Dr. Elizabeth King Show” and “The Dr. King’s Health Fusion Hour”. The show received global recognition because of the caliber of guests and information that she shared with her audience.

Dr. King has been honored for her work in the community with many prestigious awards such as the 2017 President’s Lifetime Achievement Award, the 2017 American Business Women Association (ABWA) Wonder Woman Award, Hispanic Woman Distinction Award, 100 Outstanding Women of Broward County Award, PR Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Award and the National Association of Women Business Owner (NAWBO) Bravo Award Finalist.
