The History

“Be the change you want to see in the world.” Mahatma Gandhi

The Woman: Dr. Elizabeth King: Serial Entrepreneur, CEO of multiple companies, Psychotherapist, Hypnotherapist, Coach, Speaker, Radio Personality, Author,  Activist,  Philanthropist.
The Vision: To guide as many people as possible into health, prosperity and happiness and encourage those people to give back to their communities.

The Book: “Dr. King’s Simple Guide to Holistic Health: Lessons Learned from my Personal Journey” is the book that Dr. King wished she had had eight years ago when she was bedridden with chronic pain.  It is a practical guide for anyone interested in learning more about holistic health.  It can be purchased on Amazon in print or e-book format. Dr. King is currently writing her second book.

The Lipstick: Dr. King developed her own signature lipstick line called DRK.  This lipstick line was created to remind women to “put on their lipstick attitude™” no matter what.

The Radio Show: “The Dr. Elizabeth King Show” (formerly “Dr. King’s Health Fusion Hour”) has been heard in South Florida and worldwide for the past five years. The show has hosted countless health and wellness experts who educate, empower and inspire listeners each week.

The Center: International Holistic Center (IHC) was opened six years ago as the result of a promise Dr. King made when holistic medicine brought her back to health.  Dr. King vowed to open up a center that would offer the most effective and comprehensive approach to health and wellness by fusing conventional and alternative therapies to address the whole person.   A dedicated group of integrated healthcare and wellness professionals are the backbone of IHC.

The Movement: Suits, Stilettos and Lipstick™ (SSL) was launched last year as a conference for women to learn how to balance their busy lives, while accomplishing their personal and professional goals.   Dr. King and Yvonne Haase, Clinical Director and Psychotherapist at IHC, had no idea that what started off as a conference would turn into a movement.   SSL now hosts events that are women-focused, but guy friendly.

The Cause: Women’s International Holistic Council (WIHC) is a non-profit organization founded by Dr. King after the Suits, Stilettos and Lipstick conference.  The WIHC volunteers come together to make a meaningful difference in the lives of women and children through education, mentorship, personal development and philanthropy.
